Green Waste Facility Open - Extended Hours this Saturday, March 30 from 10:-00-2:00

The Green Waste Facility (Sewer Plant, 240 South Moss Street) will be open Monday - Friday from 9:00-5:00 until further notice to accept tree limbs and other yard debris. If you do not have access to a truck or trailer, please contact City Hall for assistance and place the yard debris behind the curb or sidewalk .Staff will pickup debris over the next several weeks.

President's Day - City Hall Closed

The Lowell City Hall and Library will be closed Monday, February 18, for President's Day.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day - City Hall Closed

The Lowell City Hall and Library will be closed Monday, January 21, for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

City Hall and Library Hours

Lowell City Hall and the Library will close December 24 at 1:00 p.m, December 25 for Christmas, December 31 at 1:00 p.m., and January 1 for New Year's Day. As a reminder, we accept utility payments via mail, City Hall drop box, and online. Happy Holidays! 

Lowell Covered Bridge Tree Lighting

The Lowell Covered Bridge Tree Lighting is an annual community event hosted by the City of Lowell Parks and Recreation Committee. Festivities start at 5:00 p.m. and include a chance to meet Santa Claus, bridge and tree lighting, caroling, and local entertainment. Refreshments are provided. FREE parking and shuttle service is available at the Lowell High School parking lot starting at 4:45 p.m.
